We love the fact that they can accommodate parties of any size, and that they offer such a wide array of food. We simply can't recommend this caterer highly enough. Everything is top notch. Truly excellent service. EVENTS OF EXCELLENCE CATERING of Detroit is very true to their name! Every event that we've attended that has been catered by this company has been a smashing success! They also happen to be the exclusive caterer for Events of Excellence at the Marina, a riverfront banquet center that is a wonderful choice for your wedding reception. The only reason we didn't include that one on our list of wedding reception venues is that we haven't attended one there ourselves. But we have heard nothing but great things about it! The specialties of this great catering company are Asian, American, Continental, Eastern European, Italian, Vegetarian, and Desserts. With more than twenty years of experience in the business, this is truly one of the very best companies that you can choose for your wedding reception. The prices are surprisingly affordable for this high level of quality, and the service is simply superb. We can't say enough about this company. Their reputation speaks for itself. Questions to Ask Your Caterer
Be sure to ask your potential caterer how long they have been in business and how long they have served the Detroit area. You'll want to know how much of their business is done at weddings as opposed to other events. Be sure to ask about insurance. Ask how many servers there will be, and how much gratuity is expected. Ask if there is a cake-cutting fee or a bartending fee. Ask if there is a cleanup fee! Find out what the cancellation policy is, just in case. And be sure to ask about liability insurance, and whether or not they are licensed to serve alcohol. Never assume the answer to any of these questions. Always ask up front.
